You Don’t Need More Willpower—You Might Just Need This

Can I tell you something I’ve been sitting with?

When we first started LVLTN, we truly believed our job was to teach people what they needed in 3 months, then send them on their way.

If someone needed our coaching for longer, I thought we must’ve done something wrong.

Turns out… I was wrong (which was a relief).

What actually happened was that people kept renewing their coaching contracts; over and over again.

So I started asking:
“Are we not delivering what they were hoping for?”
“Did they not hit their goals?”
“Are we holding them back somehow?”

But the more feedback we gathered, the clearer it became:

They weren’t staying because they needed us…
They were staying because they wanted to.

They wanted:

  • More care.
  • More progress.
  • More education.
  • More support.

And honestly? What an honor.

Now, our clients stay for an average of 11 months (though many have been with us for 5+ YEARS at this point!)…

Not because they don’t know what they’re doing anymore, but because they’ve finally found a space that gets it. That gets them.

So What Does That Have to Do With You?

We recently performed an application analysis on the thousands of applications we've received over the years. More specifically, we hyper-analyzed the people who moved forward with our coaching vs. the people who didn't.

Here’s the biggest difference we found:

  • It wasn’t about time.
  • It wasn’t about money.
  • It wasn’t even about the number on the scale (interestingly!)

It was about readiness.

The clients who moved forward were often juggling:

  • Stressful jobs
  • New babies
  • Chronic health issues
  • Messy schedules

But they were also the ones saying:

“I’m ready to stop guessing.”
“I need structure and support that fits real life.”
“I’ve tried all the things. I want to do this right.”

Meanwhile, many who didn’t move forward said things like:

“I just want to feel better.”
“I’m overwhelmed. I don’t even know where to start.”

Totally valid. Totally human.
But often stuck in the “thinking about it” stage.

  • And they’re realizing they never needed “more willpower”—they just needed a better system.
